  • Account Data: Name, email address, password, phone number, physical address, and avatar image.
  • Organization Data: Organization name, website, organization type (e.g., Grant-seeking, Consulting), and team members.
  • Payment Data: Billing address and payment method details (processed directly by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers).

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: We track which features you use, pages you visit, and actions you take within the app.
  • Device Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
  • Cookies: Session tokens and preferences (see Cookie Policy).

1.3 Third-Party Integrations

  • Google/LinkedIn Auth: If you sign in via social providers, we collect your name, email, and avatar from those services.
  • Google Analytics: We use GA4 to analyze user behavior. In the authenticated app, we associate usage with a User ID and Company ID, but we do not send PII (Personally Identifiable Information) like email addresses to Google.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  1. Provide the Service: Authenticate access, manage company workspaces, and facilitate grant management.
  2. Billing: Process payments and prevent fraud via Stripe.
  3. Improvement: Analyze usage patterns to enhance features (e.g., using aggregate data to improve the Grants Explorer).
  4. AI Features: To provide AI-generated insights. Note: AI processing is scoped to your Company; your private data is not used to train models for other customers.
  5. Communication: Send transactional emails (invoices, password resets) and important service updates.

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with the following sub-processors required to run our Service:

  • Supabase: For database hosting and authentication services.
  • Stripe: For payment processing.
  • Google Analytics: For usage analytics.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose data if required by law (e.g., a subpoena) or to protect our rights (e.g., investigating fraud or scraping).

4. Data Retention

We retain your account data and Company data indefinitely to allow you to reactivate your account or upgrade your plan in the future without data loss. You may request deletion of your personal data by contacting support.

5. International Data Transfers

Our servers and third-party providers are primarily located in the United States. By using the Service, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the U.S.

6. Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data.

  • Access/Correction: You can update your profile directly within the app settings.
  • Deletion: Contact support@grantmanagementmadeeasy.com to request account deletion. Note that we may retain certain billing data for tax and fraud prevention purposes as permitted by law.

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this Privacy Policy. Continued use of the Service after an update signifies your acceptance of the changes.
